Relais Chateaux Chaptel Hangzhou rises from the remains of Shikumen, the typical folk residences hailing from the 1930s. With an eye to preserve its original appearance, the designer spared no effort to bridge the past with the present and to fuse the occidental with the oriental. Hence, you can sample the original flavor of ancient oriental culture, especially the unique culture of Republic of China and experience the comfort of modern life as well.
